Hi, I’m Michele Wright – a designer and creative, but mostly a Mama to my twin two-year-old girls Macie Lou & Marlowe.
My husband and I were both born and raised in Portland, Oregon and were graced with our twin baby girls in September of 2014. I studied (and graduated from) The Art Institute of Portland and currently work in apparel design for a large outdoor apparel company.
I spend my “extra reserve of energy” instructing Barre3 classes or attending as a client. Experiencing as many family journey’s as humanly possible. Managing our household, otherwise known as re-decorating on the quarter. And, designing a project I’ve been dreaming about for years (soon to come in the SHOP).
I’m an early riser. A dance-party-initiator and the most awkward small-talker of all time. Wife to the guy I fell in love with in 2002. And a sucker for pj’s all day with my two extremely cuddly baby girls.
ABOUT THE BLOG
Wright for Michele is a Portland based Lifestyle blog devoted to cultivating stylish, relatable and creative content. It also serves as a personal time capsule of my family’s journeys, giggling and stumbling a bit, through it all.
I started “Wright for Michele” back in 2010 as a creative outlet and to share the things I love (basically the exact same reason the rest of the internet started blogging). Often this blog is about family, sometimes it’s about style, and in general it’s about life and how you (and me) can make every single area in it, better. It’s simple, it’s real (sometimes a little raw and almost always full of grammatical errors), it’s honest and hopefully no matter what it’s a little sweet.
