Enjoying my early Saturday morning coffee, nail paint and baking while Jeff’s at work. The sun is peaking out just enough to make me want to get out for hairy duo stroll. It’s a quiet weekend in Portland and I plan to keep it that way.
Chunky boy athletic socks are still being worn everyday over here, but at least this weekend brought the need of sunglass wearing and Candy Yum-Yum lips to my life.
There isn’t anything wrong with a cold fall day, I’d actually prefer it that way… elements on the side! In a perfect world the sky would be a bright blue open canvas for the sun to dance in with crisp cold air: e v e r y d a y. These days are my favorite to dress for by far simply because the layering can be so interesting and fun and …comfortable.
Jeff was away for the entire weekend which generally means I’m nesting at home re-organizing a room or doing a deep clean. I enjoy these times of leaving the house and coming back to it looking exactly the same but I’m ready to have Jeff back, muddy golf shoes and all.
Thank you Presidents for the three day weekend.
We await the arrival of our lucky guests with salted caramel cupcakes and champagne liquid treats.
Thank you Pinterest for showering my stream with beautiful v a l e n t i n e inspiration shown above.
I started "Wright for Michele" back in 2010 as a creative outlet and to share the things I love (basically the exact same reason the rest of the internet started blogging). Often this blog is about family, sometimes it’s about style, and in general it’s about life and how you (and me) can make every single area in it, better. It’s simple, it’s real (sometimes a little raw and almost always full of grammatical errors), it’s honest and hopefully no matter what it’s a little sweet.
