Don’t you love a clean closet and cash in your hand? A trip to Buffalo Exchange was a total win… one vintage jacket and a check for $158.
At what age is it inappropriate to shop at Forever 21? I can’t help it, $19 cute simple wedge boots. They come in 4 different colors.
Ecola Inn is located directly in front of Haystack Rock and smack dab in the middle of Cannon beach, closest hotel to the ocean. A perfect beach funky place for the Maloney’s to drink ourselves silly together since the 1960’s.
Jeff and I rolled in early this morning with presents in hand. We’ve been parked in front of the windows watching the ocean wrap itself around the building and crash against Haystack. 3 champagnes in, endless to go. Portland… see you Friday.
Urban Outfitters let me walk out of their store with three dresses for $30 last week. Pretty much amazing! All sale items %50 ooooofffffffff. Say what? This dress above you can find HERE.
Post inspired by tomorrows Christmas Eve party at the Wrights. Option 1, 2 or 3 ladies and gentlemen? What’s the verdict? Give it to me!
In saying that, early to bed, early to rise. I have shots to prepare and a house to situate. Santa’s coming!
Sequin Bomber | Maxi Dress | Platform lace up boots
**Important note to self: Do not wait until the end of the evening to take self portraits for blog. In a nutshell, my dress was used as the dance floors snot rag last friday night at Columbia’s design art auction holiday party.
I threw this little number together the night before the party and am impressed that such a last minute shuffle turned out to be my favorite look of all time. First of all this dress is the most comfortable gauze sheet ever worn. Not to mention I can eat copious amounts of holiday meats and treats and still feel like my dress is way to big for me. I wore this dress once before on a hot summer day HERE. I swooped by a fabric store and picked up the brightest red fabric I could find which happen to be in a silk dupioni… extremely moldable and thin. I wrapped the fabric around my head, tied it in a bow and tucked in the frayed pieces along the cut edges. Do IT!
I started "Wright for Michele" back in 2010 as a creative outlet and to share the things I love (basically the exact same reason the rest of the internet started blogging). Often this blog is about family, sometimes it’s about style, and in general it’s about life and how you (and me) can make every single area in it, better. It’s simple, it’s real (sometimes a little raw and almost always full of grammatical errors), it’s honest and hopefully no matter what it’s a little sweet.
