Urban Outfitters let me walk out of their store with three dresses for $30 last week. Pretty much amazing! All sale items %50 ooooofffffffff. Say what? This dress above you can find HERE.
Post inspired by tomorrows Christmas Eve party at the Wrights. Option 1, 2 or 3 ladies and gentlemen? What’s the verdict? Give it to me!
In saying that, early to bed, early to rise. I have shots to prepare and a house to situate. Santa’s coming!
Holiday Flair
Sequin Bomber | Maxi Dress | Platform lace up boots
**Important note to self: Do not wait until the end of the evening to take self portraits for blog. In a nutshell, my dress was used as the dance floors snot rag last friday night at Columbia’s design art auction holiday party.
I threw this little number together the night before the party and am impressed that such a last minute shuffle turned out to be my favorite look of all time. First of all this dress is the most comfortable gauze sheet ever worn. Not to mention I can eat copious amounts of holiday meats and treats and still feel like my dress is way to big for me. I wore this dress once before on a hot summer day HERE. I swooped by a fabric store and picked up the brightest red fabric I could find which happen to be in a silk dupioni… extremely moldable and thin. I wrapped the fabric around my head, tied it in a bow and tucked in the frayed pieces along the cut edges. Do IT!
The price is Wright | Pep in my peplum
Heels | 18th Amendment jeans (old but similar here)
Next up… Holiday Hot List!
it’s officially Christmas sweater and music season
Pretty sure I ate too much and hope that you did, too. There’s always room for pumpkin pie with a side of espresso. Today was as special as most days I get to spend with my family especially since there’s so many little ones around these days. I honestly do not know what my family did before there was toddlertainment around keeping us on our toes. I’m thankful for them and for Jeff and my super cute poochtainment. It’s obviously a much different feeling then raising little humans but there’s nothing like coming home to a hairy duo looking at you like your the most spectacular thing they’ve ever seen. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s like for everyone that sees me everyday but…. I kid, I kid!
The nights young, keep the glasses toasting and the champagne flowing. Christmas music is in full effect 24/7.
Falling out of Summer
Wednesday blues
What started out as an amazing week having come home from a really fantastic getaway with my boo, quickly turned into an extremely displeasing, ironic and unfortunate week. In a nut shell, I shattered my iPhone screen and fried my Macbook Pro all within 48 hours. Fortunately both are provided to me through my work place; unfortunately I lost everything personal. I could go on about this but honestly I’m too sad to, and I am still crossing my fingers the files can be retrieved tomorrow. Good vibes to me p.l.e.a.s.e.!
Tights season! Let me know if you’ve seen any great basic thick knit tights out there like the above. I could wear these every day and I can’t remember where I bought these last year.
Oh, one more thing. This Mercury Retrograde everyone’s speaking of has got me all freaked out and I have to get on a plane next week. Make it go away.
Back to Blonde | Throwback Thursday
Most people spend their halloween dressing up as characters, going to parties or handing out candy to kids. And, most women opt for dark hair for the winter and blonde for the summer. Not this lady… I spent my halloween in Jessica Baccellieri’s hair chair at Magnum Opus going blonde. Well, only an hour and a half but it’s the only halloween worthy moment of my day since I didn’t dress up and the entire salon was over the top amazing. I haven’t been this blonde since my early twenties and I feel down right sexy!
